Transition to the European standards

Free Trade Area between Ukraine and the European Union is a large-scale integration agreement that also aims at bringing Ukrainian business rules and regulations in line with the EU rules and regulations. For Ukraine, European integration is a way of modernizing the economy, overcoming technological backwardness, attracting foreign investments and new technologies.

European integration is closely linked to the adaptation of Ukraine's legislation, its reformation and gradual alignment with the European standards. This, in its turn, also binds Ukraine to change the technical regulations and standards in all branches of production in such a way that the state code corresponds to the European one. The large-scale work carried out will ultimately mean European safety, quality and reliability of products both inside and outside the country.

Therefore, in order to control safety and quality of products, it is necessary to constantly approximate the Ukrainian product control systems with the European codes. To solve this problem, we need to get such a system of technical regulation and its corresponding infrastructure (experts, laboratories, etc.) that exists in the EU.

Testing laboratory of the European model 
 
In fact, our testing laboratory is a model of such an infrastructure of the European standard. The testing laboratory (TL) of the "LIZO Ltd." carries out testing of line hardware purposed for tensioning, support and connection of overhead power lines, conductors of electrical and fiber-optic cables to correspondence with the requirements of the European (EN. IEC) and the national standards (DSTU).

"LIZO Ltd." was accredited by the National Accreditation Agency of Ukraine in accordance with the requirements of DSTU ISO/IEC 17025, which confirms its right to perform independent testing and is attached by annual monitoring.

An audit of the organizational and technical conditions for performing the tests was carried out at the laboratory in August 2016 by the Certification Authority of the Institute of Energy (IEn, Poland), which resulted that the testing laboratory becomes a subcontractor of the Certification Authority in one line with the laboratories of Ensto Finland Oy and Sicame SA. This recognition allows the manufacturers to obtain European certificates for their products at the basis of testing reports issued by our laboratory.
